Finding Me
For tomorrow’s lunch (for my big boy), I went with a tried and true theme – deli! I packed a ham and cheese pita, a few pickles, a mandarin orange, some red grapes, a few whole wheat Ritz crackers, and some lemon poppyseed Bundt cake.

Today was my first kindergarten homeschool day! We had a great time working with the letter “N”. We also took a trip to the library, where my Bigs checked out books on snakes and komodo dragons (ewwwww!). I am so grateful for these precious homeschool days I get with my children!
Here is what I packed for Bigs’ Tuesday school lunch:
I made a ham, cheese (I use Applegate Naturals for both), and mayo sandwich on white wheat. I also packed Horizon Organic cheddar sandwich crackers, a teeny plum, cotton candy grapes, dried dates, and a semi-homemade pumpkin brownie [brownie mix, pumpkin spice, one can of pumpkin].

For tomorrow’s lunch, I had my big boy choose what he wanted, make it, and pack it himself.
For his second-to-last school lunch, he chose a ham, cheese, and mayo sandwich. I told him he could do it however he wanted. He wanted the top piece of bread to be upside down, and he wanted to cut it into thirds. He’s neat. He also packed pretzel sticks, red grapes, and a teeny piece of that outrageously yummy (and easy) chocolate cake with fun sprinkles, that I made earlier in the week.

To continue Pond Week, I made a duck-themed lunch. Let’s hope the duck and the gator from yesterday don’t end up in the same pond!
I made a duck shaped ham, cheese, and mayo sandwich. The sweet little duck is floating on his bread crust pond. The pond is also hiding some honey wheat pretzel sticks. I also packed strawberries, grapes, an organic yogurt squeeze, and a homemade dark red velvet cookie.
